Enamel On Copper Paintings

Enamel on Copper Paintings

“Enamel on Copper Paintings of Ted DeGrazia” showcases the artist’s innovative use of fired enamels on copper, which are created using glass-based pigments that melt and fuse to metal at high temperature. These stunning pieces, created in the early 1970s, demonstrate DeGrazia’s mastery of this unique medium.

This exhibit features full and partial editions of enamel on copper painting series along with examples of enameled jewelry, sculpture, and additional individual enamel on copper paintings.

This exhibit will open on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, with an opening reception from 5 – 7 p.m. at the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun Museum, 6300 North Swan Road, Tucson, Arizona.

The Gallery has partnered with Whiskey Del Bac to offer a complimentary tasting of a whiskey bottled especially for the Gallery with a limited-edition label featuring DeGrazia’s “Monster of Quitovac.” Bottles will be available for purchase during the reception, as well as during normal hours of operation, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024 only.

The exhibit will be on display through January 29, 2025.
