DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun
DeGrazia's complete Rodeo Collection of 26 oil paintings from 1954 are based on the annual all-Indian rodeo at the Tohono O'odham reservation
west of Tucson. According to curator Jim Jenkins, DeGrazia referred to the impressionistic images as his "drastic" paintings that capture the
dramatic action on colorful canvas. A documentary that can be viewed at the gallery or purchased online includes a visit to the rodeo with the
artist.
