This large framed oil painting depicts a group of native women sitting huddled together
under a pink umbrella held by the middle figure. Although the piece doesn't officially
have a name, it is commonly referred to as simply "The Pink Umbrella". The image was featured
on page 17 of the August 1967 issue of Arizona Highways magazine. The painting has been part
of a large personal collection of DeGrazia artwork for many years. Over the years, the collector
purchased many paintings from both Ted DeGrazia and his principal dealer, Buck Saunders.
