In this 1958 oil painting entitled "The Biggest Basket"
the artist depicts a thin Indian woman with a large basket on her head. Her long
black hair is tied up with red bows and is draped down her back. The painting has
a brilliant yellow background and is set in a brown wooden frame. On the back of the
painting the artist has written "DeGrazia Tucson, Arizona 34/1958 Guatemala 8". The
painting has been in a private collection since it was first purchased in 1959.
